InfoConversions has developed a range of products that, taken together,
dramatically reduce the cost and equally increase the quality of data
conversion. Our staff has expert XML and XSL knowledge and understands
the issues related to managing complex text, tables and graphics. Our
products cover the full conversion process, from OCR through quality
assurancce. They are designed to minimize knowledge of document
content, XML and HTML. They do not require the use of or knowledge of
Microsoft Word. When used to convert OCRd PDF documents to XML, they
employ techniques that raise the level of quality far above that gained
with traditional processes.

InfoConversions
tools are licensed to users by a price-per-page approach, based upon
the estimated number of pages to be converted by the purchaser. The
cost advantage is great enough that both InfoConversions and the
purchaser profit from the transaction.

Products:
OCR Assistance Module
The OCR module provides aids to the user in zoning a document to account for complex tables and graphics.
XML Conversion Module
The XML module uses a WYSIWYG technique
for rapidly categorizing the raw original document into appropriate XML
Schema/DTD elements. Knowledge of Microsoft Word is not required to use
this module.
Quality Assurance Module
IETMs are produced in conjunction with our partner, Raytheon Technical Services
HTML Generation Module
The HTML module adds a capability to produce indexed HTML
representations of the XML documents. The HTML files can then be used
in their own right for remote access to the material using a laptop or
DVD/CD based access on any computer.
Graphic Linking Module
The Graphic module provices a capability, within the XML module, to bi-directionally link portions of graphics to relevant text.
Data Management Module
The Management Module is a PC Oracle based module that stores the
converted data in a form that eliminates lost information and supports
the generation of final deliverable output.
