  • Low-cost Conversion Services

IConvert is configurable to multiple DTDs. It currently supports the CECOM CTOS Variant,MIL-STD 400051B, and the US Navy S3000 specifications. The software is easily extendable to support the forthcoming S1000D specification. It can easily support the various USAF, US Navy, US Marine, and UK and Australian specifications. The process itself includes multiple checks that insure high quality results.

  • Paper, PDF, Word, TIFF fully indexed to XML and HTML

The IC conversion process supports multiple forms of electronic media. The IC process 'learns' with volume; thus, the more documents in a batch, the lower the cost of the process. The process supports fixed-price conversion projects.

  • Composition

If a government supplied final composition tool exists, as for the US Army CECOM Variant and the US Navy 3000 specification, the final step in the IConvert process is to generate the browser viewable files by process the XML through the composition tool. This has the added advantage of being the final quality check int he process.

  • Stylesheets and Validation

IC XML files are delivered in a fully independent configuration. Integrated validation is employed and the XML is checked against a user validator when available. The XML files are delivered for viewing on a Web Browser using a customer supplied stylesheet if available, or with an IC stylesheet. Indexed independent HTML files are supplied at no extra cost.

  • Delivery in an editable SQL database

IConvert uses a comprehensive database, developed using knowledge acquired over many years, to manage the conversion process and large volumes of documents. This standard SQL database can be used as the delivery mechanism and makes it easy for customers to integrate the delivered documents into their own applications.

  • Image Hotspotting

The IConvert Process includes an integrated capability to link 'spots' on graphic images to specific locations in documents. The links are available to the user in any WP3 compatible browser. This easy-to-use capability provides the specific ability to link parts diagrams to RPSTL tables in depot documents.
